Country Manager

Ashley was raised in the Waikato, New Zealand, before moving abroad and living across Asia. He began his career in human resource consultancy in 2010 and joined the Adecco Group in 2013. With over 15 years of international experience across Australia and AsiaPacific, Ashley has held senior leadership positions in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Australia. Ashley combines his global experience and strong local understanding to effectively build high-performing sales teams and drive consistent, profitable growth for Adecco's clients in New Zealand. Serving as Country Manager for New Zealand, Ashley leads a team of over 100 employees who support thousands of contract and temporary staff. His expertise lies in identifying growth market opportunities, managing strategic initiatives, and developing the sales team and company culture. He plays a key role in advancing Adecco New Zealand’s core offerings in Manufacturing, Civil & Construction, Supply Chain & Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology, and more. Ashley holds a BA (Hons) in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and Human Resources, as well as an MBA in Behavioural Economics from Macquarie University. His research into workplace performance during the Covid-19 pandemic has contributed valuable insights into the productivity of remote work.
