The SAP EWM Lead Consultant is responsible for driving the configuration and implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) within the SAP S/4HANA environment. The consultant will lead the design and setup of warehouse processes such as production staging, returns, shipping, consignment, and inventory management. They will ensure the smooth integration of EWM with other SAP modules and external systems, creating a seamless flow of accounting and transactional documents across the system.

Key duties include:

  • Configuration and Implementation: Lead SAP EWM configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Business Analysis: Work with clients to understand their needs, translating these into SAP EWM solutions.
  • Functional Specifications: Write specifications for customizations and enhancements.
  • Impact Assessments: Evaluate the impact of changes and provide solution designs.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Fit-to-Standard Workshops: Lead design workshops, ensuring the alignment of SAP solutions with best practices.
  • Logistics Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge of logistics, material handling, and SAP WM processes to guide clients.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Ensure successful project delivery by managing timelines and maintaining quality.
  • Experience: 8+ years in SAP EWM/WM, including at least 2-3 full project lifecycles with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Certifications: SAP S/4HANA EWM certification is required.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of SAP EWM, logistics, and supply chain processes, alongside strong leadership and communication skills in a multi-vendor environment.
